Skate Date
On November 3rd, 8JRA went on a Skate Date! A little more than half of our mentor group showed up at Kallang Ice World for a few hours of skating while our parents had coffee and a chance to meet each other and chat.
We had a lot of fun. Some of us were first time skaters, others were honing our skills (I learned how to turn!) and a few were just showing off! All in all we had a great time. Take a look some picture. Sorry they are a bit blurry. but everything was just moving so fast!
A big thank you to everyone who came, especially all the parents. Building community takes time and trust; events like this help us move a bit more quickly. I am already looking forward to our next event. I am thinking bowling would be fun. Do you have any ideas? What others ways can we help us bond and become a community?
